Environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice will be regarded as the minimum standard of environmental performance required from our staff.
- We recognise our responsibilities to recycle materials wherever possible and will endeavour to reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal.
- Old electrical equipment should be recycled where possible or disposed of responsibly.
- All non-essential IT equipment is to be switched off when not required.
- The energy efficiency of new equipment should be taken into account during procurement. For example, purchasing low energy LCD monitors in place of CRTs.
- Remote working greatly reduces our demand on transportation and whenever possible remote working should be encouraged.
All employees are made aware of our environmental policy and their required contributions to the reduction of our environmental impact.
