We are a specialist database management company operating in the public and private sector. This is our core business and our primary activity, rather than a secondary interest.
Comprehensive Process
Our merging and deduplicating service would include teleresearch to establish the true relationship, if any, between companies where data analysis identifies apparent or potential duplicate records.
Our telephone based data cleaning service includes cutting the data at the start, teleresearch (usually up to six calls per company), writing back the data to your client management system and deduplicating the live database (unlike most contractors, who will provide the revised data for you to integrate into your system and a list of apparent duplicates for you to resolve). Our processes ensure that the database is fully useable by your staff throughout a data cleaning project, and any amendments made by them during the exercise are retained.
Extensive Database Management Services
We can provide a full database management service as an ongoing partner to our clients, including any bulk data manipulation requirements, routine teleresearch/data cleaning/deduplication services, sourcing and merging new external data, SIC coding, marketing support and any other data services. Other companies may provide data cleaning or technical data manipulation services, but we can supply both.

On-Going Maintenance
S & S Data Ltd provide an on-going maintenance or Data Policing service which allows us to maintain your data continuously. This allows us to co-ordinate with any plans you have to target specific companies at specific time in the year, ensuring that these are teleresearched just prior to any campaign you are planning.
As by its nature, this service generally follows a complete cleansing of the database. It may be beneficial to modify the data researched to build on the basic information already collected. For example further in-depth research can be undertaken into companies which have several trading divisions and therefore may require multiple SIC Codes.
